The run I've been dreading ALL WINTER.   Once we drove up Joslin road on a scouting drive I knew this was going to be tough.  The last time I remember running a 14:30 mile with effort was a long long time ago when competing in the Mount Washington race.

So Joslin definitely put me in my place, but it was also a reminder that this isn't about how fast I go, but by the effort I put in.  I gave all I had and that's all I could ask.

Beautiful spring day around 60 with the promise of warmer days ahead.  This run is the first time I've seen my Apple Watch record over 100 flights of stasirs - and believe me I felt every one of them.

I took plenty of stops along the way to take pictures.  This was the most scenic route today and I soaked it in.   Love the outdoor Sauna.   I am happy to say that today did not deter me from pushing ever forward.

I posted a blog today titled "Glory Days".  I hope you give it a read - it helps bring today into focus.

So glad this one's in the books!   On to Alstead.
